Nobody likes clutter, especially on their Mac
desktop. While you can minimize apps in the dock it
sometimes is not practical to do that with everything
you have running. Enter a great little utility called
Sticky Windows. Sticky
Windows is an application for Mac OS X Tiger
which extends the tab browsing experience to the
Desktop. Sticky Windows shrinks your windows
into tabs when you drag a window towards the
edge of your screen, providing you with a
completely clutter-free workspace. By clicking
on the tab the user can show and hide the
window.

where

How do you keep track of the latest versions
for all your installed applications? Apple's built-in
Software Update helps keep software like iTunes and
Mac OS X updated, but what about the rest? A lot of
applications on your Mac don't include their own
update checker and even if they do, they don't work
from a central place. With
AppFresh, you're in control
to decide what updates get installed. Spend your
time using your applications, not keeping them
up to date or checking for updates and fixes.
This is a great product and it's free.

likely that more and more people will develop trojans
or viruses targeted at Mac OSX. The question
therefore every Mac user has to ask is "what's it
worth to ensure my Mac is virus, trojan and tracking
cookie free?". The answer might be
Mac Scan which offers a great
product that can scan your hard drive in minutes
and costs only $24.99.

pain in the ass to have to go to the applications
folder to open a program even with the dock and
stacks. That's why I use Overflow an inexpensive
program ($14.95) that allows you to customize the
tabs and put all the applications you want out of the
dock but yet within easy reach.

Quickscale is designed to let
you scale a large of of pictures to a desired
size and format. Now, why would you want to do
that? For example, if you wish to share your
holiday photo's with family and friends, you can
either send them by e-mail or put them somewhere
on a website. The problem is that these pictures
are usually far to large, have immense
resolutions, and take far to long to send.

programs all the time. The problem is that simply
dragging the file folder to the trash may not
completely delete the program which is why there is
App Zapper. Just drag and drop the program you don't
want into the window and App Zapper will search your
hard drive for any remaining folders and delete them
as well. This is must have application for anyone who

Yellow Mug Software has put
out some really nice software that is essential,
easy to use and low cost. One of the programs
that I find myself using again and again is a
program called
