Simply import your image into Corel Painter, determine what effect you want such as impressionist, watercolor, pencil, or traditional painting and hit transform and in an instant your picture starts the transformation to canvas. You can even control the sharpness with a tracing paper guide from 0-100%. Now who wouldn't want a painting of their children or the family to hang in the family room. There are even links to services which will take your masterpiece and print it on canvas for you framed or not framed.

Corel Painter Essentials 4 is not inexpensive at $79.99 but you can download a 30 day demo to play with before you decide to buy it. There are also some great video tutorials on the site that demonstrate how to add different effects to your paintings. I highly recommend this product it works very well on the Mac platform.
